Freight quote checklist
A useful freight quote starts with a clear shipment brief. Gather these details so our team can review equipment, routing, timing and the services you need.
Request a quote
Start with the shipment basics
Provide the origin and destination, pickup readiness, required delivery date, commodity, package count, total weight and dimensions. Tell us whether your shipment can be stacked and whether either location needs an appointment or special loading equipment.
For ground freight
Specify full truckload or less-than-truckload, trailer type and loading arrangements. For reefer freight, include the required temperature and handling instructions. For drayage, share the terminal, container size, gross weight, release status and delivery address.
For ocean freight
Share the origin and destination ports or full addresses, cargo readiness, FCL or LCL preference and container size if known. Identify who arranges pickup, customs clearance and final delivery, and provide agreed trade terms if available.
For air freight
Provide the weight and dimensions of each piece, origin and destination airports or addresses, ready date and delivery deadline. Identify batteries, regulated cargo or special handling needs before routing is reviewed.
Compare the full scope
Ask which pickup, main transport, terminal, documentation and delivery services are included. Clarify exclusions, possible waiting or storage charges, quote validity and the timing assumptions. Rates and shipment arrangements are confirmed separately by our team.
